During long weekend holidays, I spent some time to take a little stroll around Piazza del Duomo, Milano. There were so many people lined up to go see Museo del Novecento (Museum of 1900s). We couldn’t help taking some pictures of the holiday atmosphere… the weather was cold, but not too much. It was nice enough to see a little sunshine in the afternoon… perfect for a little walk.

I was walking around Piazza Duomo, Milan, and noticing bright blue boxes around the Christmas Tree. It was from Tiffany & Co., beautiful! They open a showroom, sort of a big booth under the tree… very interesting.

The temporary showroom opens to the public… it’s a great opportunity to see jewelry designs and beautiful items inside.

For Milan residents, nobody doesn’t know La Rinascente, a prestigious department store of the city. It is situated at the perfect location, right at the heart of Milano, Piazza Duomo. All kinds of major brand names have their stores opened there. It is fun to see the newest collections displayed … enjoying my afternoon walk… shop… have a cup of coffee.

They have 2 coffee shops at La Rinascente. One is on the ground floor, another one is on the top floor… has a balcony with Duomo Cathedral view… awesome!

We spent our afternoon while there was a Milan Design Weekend (October 14-17), shopped at home & décor department and sipped some coffee on the top floor. It was amazing weekend!

Walking around Piazza Duomo, Milan, Italy, is really fun for shoppers like many of us. Beside visiting brand name stores, you will find people, especially young Italians, walking around with very trendy clothes. I couldn’t help taking pictures and seeing what is in right now… leggings, embroidered sandals, rompers, big belt, etc. Colors are bright… really bright, feeling like Matthew Williamson’s line is blooming here. Galleria, next to Piazza Duomo, is the place where you can just hang out and checking what are new for this season. Stores like Prada, Gucci, LV, etc., are going full load with new accessories and clothes for this season. Just enjoy it if you plan to visit… walking, having gelato, sipping a cup of espresso, taking pictures, etc. Now let us have a look at what they are wearing.
