The weather is getting warmer. Where I live, Milan, Italy, is such a cool city for fashion. I love seeing women show a bit of skin in Spring and Summer. One-shoulder dress has been a great trend in the past few years and  it’s still going strong. Yes, dresses… they are so feminine. It gives you a sophisticated look. Whether solid colors for floral prints, you can always find something you like. It’s fun, it’s beautiful… I just love it.

I just found a great video on YouTube today. It is summarizing how 4 ladies from Sex and the City had changed throughout the years from TV series to big screen… Style is never out when you know how to mix and match with your characters. Fun facts from a story line and …fashion… that is what we love!

Spring is already here, Summer is yet to come. Yes, beside comfortable shorts and light weight dresses, we are seeing “White Wedges” trend all over the places. What not to love about a pair of lovely shoes? They are so easy to wear with different kinds of Summer clothes. Going out in the evening, you could put them on with chic light color dress… wonderful!

Celebrities are also loving this trend. Jessica Simpson has a shoes line, featuring tons of wedges. We have seen in on Runway Show Spring/Summer 2010. The tip is you need to find the one you feel comfortable to wear. Check out shoe stores  near your areas. They are waiting for you!!!

Yes…yes…yes, we know “Nude” lipsticks are really in right now. But many ladies told me that they did not want to look washed out by applying those on their lips. Well, there are substitutes… some alternatives that will help you to find products, which still create a nude look but not totally wash your face out.

1. Mac  “Faux” Lipstick :  It is a satin finish. Many describe it as a soft rose… still have a nude complexion. The texture goes on lips very smoothly. It is almost like matte but it is not. This lipstick has a slight pink undertone. It is perfect if your skin is a little dark, this will not make your face look washed out.

2. Revlon Colorburst “Soft Nude” : It is a peachy and pinky shade. Texture is so creamy and moisturizing. Everyone is revving about because it is really long lasting. It might get dry on your lips so make sure you do apply a lip balm or moisturizer before.

3. Nars “Belle de Jour” : It is a perfect sheer nude color. The undertone shade is a slight peach. Belle de Jour creates a sophisticated appearance. It is on a pricey side, but it is worth a try if you love soft and glamor look.

4. Chanel Aqualumiere “Positano” : It has a warm shade mixed with nude color. Texture is amazing, creamy, soft and very moisturizing. You just need only one coat and you are good for the day. Some said it is also create a look of plumping, healthy and kissable!

5. L’Oreal “Fairest Nude” : It is a nude color with slight mauve pink undertone. Good pigmentation and affordable price are pros about this product. It is an every day wearable lipstick, many carry in their purses for a touch up. Love it!

Many of us might be struggle while being on diet. There some easy and simple ways to improve and help you to stay healthy,  keep your weigh under control. Something we might have known but do not realize that it could affect how your diet works. Let have a look.

1. Eat Breakfast: It is the most important meal of the day. You need to nourish your body in the morning. Breakfast will help a mind to function better during the day and boost your metabolism to burn calories. A great choice would be a bowl of whole grain cereal or oatmeal with fruit such as bananas, blueberries, strawberries, etc.

2. Limited Portion of Dinner: Yes, of course, you still need to have dinner. But the amount that served needs to be limited. Focus on protein and vegetable, you will feel more satisfied. Vegetable and soups are great choices.

3. Don’t obsess with counting calories: You meal should have some lean protein like turkey, chicken or beans. There also should be some whole grain carbohydrate such as brown rice. Half of your dish must fill with vegetables, they are packed with vitamins and minerals. Stop going crazy about counting calories, you will feel less satisfied when you eat. It affects your body psychologically.

4. Give yourself some healthy treats: You need to reward yourself sometimes. An apple for afternoon snack is a good idea. Try to stay away from chocolate bars, sodas, cookies, chip, and so on. There are many things you can pack on your daily treats; carrots, pears, almonds (1/2 cup), a banana, etc. Everything need to be consumed in moderate portion.

5. Drink more water: Nobody can argue that water is good for us. Most of people do not drink enough water during the day. Your body will send a signal to your brain and many thought they were hungry but actually they just needed to drink some water. It does help your body to feel less hungry and more satisfied with your meal. You need to drink water 6-8 glasses a day. It might be a good idea to carry a bottle of water with you and drink from that bottle, at the end of the day it will help you to see how much water you have consumed.

    Spring has arrived… Summer is coming. I see a lot of fun print dresses with blue color. Love it! It just make you look lovely, spunky and wonderful. Blue is one of my favorite colors …any type of skin can pull it off. Why don’t you try to find a print dress that fits you?  It is not going break your wallet, blue print dress can be easily found in any store, any price. I’m sure you’ll look amazing!

    Jason Alexander is a newest spokesperson for Jenny Craig, a famous weight loss program. He lost 30 pounds! This commercial is so much fun to watch. He, of course, has a great sense of humor in person. The new ad features Valerie Bertinelli to celebrate his success. I love seeing this vid! Enjoy!
